Context

ENAR as an umbrella organisation, has the opportunity to connect with different organisations among its network. This provides a wide range of perspectives and lived experiences that provide the organisation to have a 360-degree vision on discrimination patterns. ENAR has been championing for already 25 years the fight against racism and other discrimination patterns and remains open to provide valuable insights in other ecosystems in which inequities still persist.

Purpose of the Working Group

The Climate and Economic Justice Working Group aims to provide support to the ENAR members who are affected by and interested in the intersection between environmental harm, structural racism and economic inequalities impacting racialised minorities. The idea is to meet four times a year to discuss how we can create spaces in which our work on combatting racism in climate impact and economic policies.
